What is a Warranty?

A warranty is a promise made by a manufacturer to a buyer that the goods being sold will meet certain specifications or perform as expected.

What is Not Covered?

This Warranty Policy does not cover the following categories:

  • Non-Branded Accessories
  • Batteries/adapters
  • Printheads/cartridges/toners
  • Softwares

Warranty Duration:

Our warranty policy ensures coverage for defects in material, design, and workmanship arising after product purchase. Standard warranty 1 year from the date of purchase unless otherwise specifically mentioned.

Warranty Start Date:

The warranty of the item begins from the product date of purchase.

Warranty Repairs:

Most of warranty repairs against products bought from us will be handled by the brand’s authorized service centres, you can also bring the item back to us in case the product doesn’t have service center warranty.

When Warranty Becomes Invalid?

This Warranty Policy becomes invalid for the following cases:

  • Damage caused by accident, liquid, physical damage, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized service center modifications.
  • Damage caused by power surges or other electrical fluctuations.
  • Damage caused by the use of accessories that are not compatible with the product.
  • Damage caused by environmental factors, such as moisture, extreme temperatures, or pests.

Warranty Process:

We will inspect the product to determine if it is covered under warranty. If the product is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the product at free of cost. If the product is out of warranty, we will notify you the cost of repair.

Note: Some service centers will demand an inspection charge if the product is found out of warranty and the repair quote is rejected by the customer.

General Terms & Conditions:

The repair or replacement of a product under this warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period. The applicable warranty terms remain in accordance with your device manufacturer.

If your product is unrepairable but remains under the manufacturer’s warranty, we will either issue a replacement unit or the similar or upgraded model which is currently available in the market.

Warranty Providers:

The device’s warranty is provided by the manufacturer, or their authorized service providers and it is subjected to the warranty policies of the manufacturer, which can be found on the user manual or the official website of the manufacturer.

Al Taheri Computers is not responsible for warranty services provided by authorized service centers. This includes the availability of spare parts, repair duration, and repair quality. Customers should directly contact the warranty service provider if they have any complaints or concerns.

Service Policy:

Customers are responsible for safeguarding their personal data and device information.

Before submitting a device for repair, customers should back up their data, and remove any lock or password.

The time it takes customers to provide device information or obtain approval is not included in the repair turnaround time (TAT).

Out-of-Warranty Repair Fees:

If the service center determines that your product is no longer under warranty, they may offer to repair it for a fee. You are not obligated to accept this offer, and you can have the product returned to you without repair.
